From Ringtones to 8-Figure Exits: My Entrepreneurial Journey
I’ve been in business for over 20 years, and started my first business when I was 16 selling ringtones for phones – remember the Crazy Frog! Well, I made a lot of money out of that! (at the time)
I then went to automotive college for 4 years in London and trained as a vehicle technician, but quickly found out I made more money fixing vehicles after work and at weekends, rather than during work time.
So that led me to starting my own business, a car garage. I started off fixing cars, then selling them and ultimately started one of my biggest businesses – a car finance and leasing company. I scaled it to multiple 7-figures, then sold it to a larger company.
I moved to Marbella, Spain, and created a new business – a marketing agency helping local businesses get clients and improve systems. I scaled it to multiple 7-figures, then due to a relationship breakdown with my partner, I sold the business for a lot of money and moved back to the UK.
It didn’t take long before I started getting itchy fingers again. It wasn’t long before I started another business – a recruitment business. This is one of my biggest successes to date. I started by myself at home, and within 18 months, I had grown it super large and had over 1,200 staff working as sub-contractors for me worldwide. I had to manage day-to-day activities with the help of a small team.
We got approached by a larger company who bought us, and I left after working a 6-month transition period. Six months passed and the boredom set in – I’m not sure what’s wrong with me because I just can’t stay retired for too long. I have to be doing something, and business is my passion.
So I decided to start coaching, helping other business owners or wannabe start-ups put in systems and client acquisition strategies, scale their businesses, then exit for over 8 figures. So if you need help starting or scaling a business, I’ve got you covered!
